Chubby Chum!

Every time I use one of these images from Pink Petticoat I smile all the way through making the card. The papers are by Craftwork Cards and for the teeny bit of colouring I used Copics. The three embellies are chipboard and the only name on the pack is Artoz. The gorgeous ribbon came from Fantastic Ribbons, who, by the way are one of this weeks sponsors over on the Penny Black Challenge.

I have entered this card into the sketch challenge on the Cardmaking and Papercraft mag site.

Thinking of You

Well, I had a lovely crafty day. Not as productive as I had hoped but got a couple of cards done. Too busy browsing blogland, I really do get lost in there sometimes.

This one is for the Lili of the Valley challenge.....let's go dotty for circles. The papers are My Minds Eye and I coloured the Lili of the Valley stamped image with watercolour pencils.

You're Tree-mendous!

Woohoo, holiday Monday, I'm gonna' be knee deep in papers, ribbons, buttons and glue! And, I may take myself off to the local crafty shop 'cos I'm down to my last foam square, disaster.

I dashed out quickly to take this piccie in a howling gale and have managed to chop a bit off the bottom...but you get the gist! (I have now changed the pic to a better one)

The digi image is from Pink Petticoat, and if you are fast you may just grab a bargain over there today. I coloured with copics and the papers are by BoBunny, my faves at the moment.

This fits two challenges.....

Allsorts....park inspiration

Cupcake Craft.....let's get digital

Summer days.....drifting away

Good Mornin' Penny Blackers!

This weeks challenge..... Summer Lovin'

I thought immediately of the song from Grease for my sentiment. And as "summer days" are "drifting away" it is time to get in some last minute summer fun. DH and I decided to enjoy last minute fun by staying at a boutique hotel in Harrogate last night.
Check out the The Balmoral Hotel. We stayed in the red and black suite - fabulous. So after you create a crafting masterpiece that fits this weeks challenge get out there and find your own bank holiday summer lovin'.

Our sponsors have provided these fabulous prizes....

15% lifetime discount voucher from
P B Stamps
and
Black and White Buttons (average contents 150) from
Fantastic Ribbons

We hope that you can join in the fun this week. Why not pop over here for some inspiration from my PBSC teamies.

I'm Back.....and an Award

Howdy doody everyone. I'm back from Portugal, totally chilled and a little sun kissed. This was waiting for me in blogland ....

....thanks a lot Mel for thinking of me. So this one comes with these tasks...
  1. Thank the person who gave it to you.

  2. Put the award on your blog.

  3. List three things about yourself.

  4. Post a picture you love.

  5. Tag 5 other people for the award.
So here goes....

1. I love all things Italian, especially pasta.

2. I have a freckle in an unusual place, and no, I'm not saying where.

3. The most played song on my ipod is...Being Tyler by Lambchop.

....and here is a picture I love. Last December we went to Dubai on holiday and this was the view from our balcony. Since then I have read this and will now definately need to go back!

Anyhoo, I have a mountain of washing which will no doubt turn into a mountain of ironing. Does anyone know the secret of stopping that happening? So probably no card from me until Penny Black time on Saturday. See you then.

Hoppy Birthday!

Bom, bom, bom, ba-i-ya...bom, bom bom, ba-i-ya.
The frogs chorus, not Sir Pauls finest hour!

Good morning Penny Blackers!

Well done to everyone who joined in last weeks fruity challenge, this week we have a sketch to follow...

....and a fabulous prize from our regular sponsor Butterfly Kisses so hop on over to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge for all the details and some fabulous inspiration from my PBSC teamies.

Bring on the Bling

I don't normally stamp straight on to my card blank, but, I thought, what's the worst that can happen? If it all goes pear shaped I could just layer over it!

I picked up a set of these stamps, by pergamano, at my local crafty shop. Hadn't seen them before but I likey!

I coloured the image with watercolours and punched out the flowers and leaves. Finishing off with little gems means it fits the challenge over on Sir Stampalot....bring on the bling.

So Sweet

Good Morning Penny Blackers.

Mmmm....jam! Now what's my favourite? Darling husbands favourite jam is raspberry. I'm not so keen, the seeds get stuck in my teeth. I'm more of an apricot kinda gal. But come the morning a hot bit of toast spread with Robertsons marmalade (yes, with peel) sets me up for the day ahead.

Thanks to everyone who joined in last weeks beachy theme. This week the challenge is.....

Feeling Fruity

Once again we have two groovy prizes up for grabs....

$20 voucher from 1-2-3 Stitch
and
from Penny Black
Fuzzy Mail....

For some fabulously fruity inspiration check out what my teamies did here on the Penny Black Saturday challenge.

Heidi Among the Flowers

How cute is little Heidi? I would say very cute, don't you think? She is a digi image I just bought from here, think I may go back and get some more!

She is coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers. Yes, I finally gave in to the lure of the Promarkers (and my local crafty shop were having a bit of a sale). Haven't decided which I like best. But then do I need to decide? Surely I absolutely need both!

I am entering this card into the sketch challenge on the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine site here.

So Cool

I fear the days of getting a good piccie outside are numbered, if it brightens up later I may replace this one. I think this might only be the second time I have used this Sugar Nellie stamp, don't know why 'cos I really like it. The papers are My Minds Eye and I think I am a little better at getting the brads on straight!

This is for the challenge over on My Partner in Crafting Crime....teens/tweens.

Ten minutes later....the sun came out, talk about 4 seasons in one day!

Make a Wish

Happy Wednesday everyone. Y'know I don't really like lilac or purple and I don't really like things at a jaunty angle and I would be really freaked out if I ever saw a rabbit dressed as a fairy but I do kinda like this card.

It fits three challenges...

Allsorts....dressing up

Creative Card Crew....cute and girly

Papertake....white and bright

Sunday 1 August 2010

You will find Rocky here at the DigiStamp Boutique.
