How perfect is this word art image from The DigiStamp Boutique? It comes plain and pre-coloured - I have used the pre-coloured one here - time is short! I will be giving this card to my lovely sis-in-law on Christmas Day - she makes sprouts especially for me - no-one else likes them!
Oh dear, I haven't blogged since Tuesday, but it's that time of year isn't it? Busy, busy, busy with too many other things. Anyway, I just have some wrapping to do and that's everything organised.
This will most likely be my last Christmas card to share for this year and isn't it super cute? I have used Archie from the DigiStamp Boutique - and if you have finished all your Christmas cards why not go over and pop him in your shopping basket and squirrel him away for next year - 'cos he's on special offer at the mo'.
Hello. I have two cards to share today. Both featuring Edwin and Hetty from The DigiStamp Boutique. I have coloured both with copics and the papers are 'Christmas Eve Chowder' by JillyBean Soup and 'Hey Kid' by PinkPaislee.
Hello. Today's card features a digi image from the Cute Robin Collection over at The DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured with Copic pens and the papers are 'merry and bright' by Carta Bella. The snowflakes are stickers I have had for many years and are very sparkly in real life. I will be drawing the winner of my giveaway later today, so if you have not left a comment here do it now! Quick go!
For my card I have used a Penny Black stamp 'warm & merry which I got half price the other week in my local craft shop, don't you just love a bargain! The papers are 'woodland winter' by BoBunny. The little meeces look a bit orange - they are brown in real life - honest!
Don't forget to leave a little comment on my giveaway post here!
Hello. I'm here today to share a card using one of the new releases over at The DigiStamp Boutique. How gorgeous is this Holly Tree? And a joy to colour too. I have kept the look clean and simple but you could change the look entirely by adding loads of Christmassy embellies and glitter. There's also a Mistletoe Tree...
And a super cute set 'Christmas Windows'. If you make a card using any of the Boutique's images don't forget to enter the monthly competition to win a £15 voucher - all the info' is here.
Hello. It's good to be back. Everything has more or less returned to normal. My 81 year old Mum has settled into her new house and it's looking good. The only thing that's not been sorted is her telephone - and all I'm saying is never...ever...get your phone from the Post Office - dreadful service. But, hey ho of all the things that could have gone wrong, I suppose we were let off lightly.
Hello. A lot of you will know that I'm in the middle of organising my Mum's move to her new home (thanks for all the kind wishes and cyber hugs - you will never know how much they have been needed!).
Up to now I have managed to find a few minutes here and there to be crafty and blog but with the move just this Friday and a major hic-cup with the electrics (don't ask!) I don't have any spare time at all.
Hello. Meet Duke the latest addition to the DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured Duke with Prismacolor pencils and the papers are from the 'Here and There' collection by Studio Calico. The whole of the Duke set is on special offer until 25th October.
Hello. Well the packing for my Mum's house move is coming along nicely. The last of the kitchen cupboards tomorrow and then the bedrooms over the weekend. The charity van is picking up her unwanted excess furniture on Monday, so we really do need to be organised by then. In the meantime I have managed to fit in a bit of crafty time (it's actually what's keeping me sane). I watercoloured this Papermania 'Little Red Robin' stamp and used papers from the same range. Quick and easy but I'll be back over the weekend with something brand new and super cute from the DigiStamp Boutique.
Hello. Well as promised earlier in the week I am back to share my first attempts with my Gelli Plate. I have to say, it is as much fun as everyone says. I bought a box of acrylic paints so that I would have lots of colours but the tubes are really quite small. And that's the only thing - it does use more paint than I thought it would! But then think of the money I will save not buying patterned papers - hmmm, we'll see!
So, as well as the background on the card above I made these -
They look a bit samey but that's only because I need more stencils! My card also features 'Elvis the Hedgehog' new in at The DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured Elvis with copics, cut him out and popped him up on 3D foam pads. Who says 'arty' backgrounds and digistamps don't work together.
Hello, I'm Liz McGuire. I have been designing and making cards for over 10 years, serving on numerous design teams and completing assignments for various papercraft magazines.
Along with my cardmaking I like to try my hand at art journaling, memory keeping, smash books etc. And there is also my new obsession - planners and stationery! So there may be the occasional blog post on these topics.
I do have a real job but that's just to earn enough money to buy paper, stamps, pens and, of course, buttons!
Thanks for stopping by and do leave a comment and follow, if you like what you see.
